Windows 11 has a built-in screen recorder called the Xbox Game Bar. Although it’s primarily designed for recording gameplay, it can be used to record other applications and activities on your screen. Here’s how you can use it:

1. **Open Xbox Game Bar**:
– Press `Win + G` to open the Xbox Game Bar overlay.

2. **Start Recording**:
– In the Xbox Game Bar overlay, you will see a variety of widgets. Click on the “Capture” widget (it looks like a camera icon).
– In the Capture widget, click the “Start Recording” button (a circle icon) to begin recording your screen.

3. **Stop Recording**:
– To stop recording, you can press `Win + Alt + R` or go back to the Xbox Game Bar overlay and click the “Stop Recording” button.

4. **Accessing Recorded Videos**:
– Your recordings will be saved in the `Videos/Captures` folder by default.

The Xbox Game Bar is a convenient and free tool for basic screen recording needs. If you need more advanced features, such as editing capabilities or the ability to record multiple screens, you might consider third-party software.
