Dr. Marwan Ghazoul is a cardiothoracic surgeon in the Heart and Lung Institute at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center. Dr. Ghazoul is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery.

Dr. Ghazoul’s expertise involves all aspects of adult cardiac surgery. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Surgeons, and the Society for Thoracic Surgeons.

Dr. Ghazoul received his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey. He completed his internship and residency at Meridia Huron Road Hospital in Cleveland, OH in general surgery and completed his fellowship in vascular and endovascular surgery from the Arizona Heart Institute in Phoenix, AZ. He then completed an additional fellowship in cardiac and thoracic surgery from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, TN.
